A morning full of running, jumping, and climbing kept the children entertained as they found ways to work together. The house structure and crates created an opportunity for the children to pull themselves up with the ropes, sit on the railing, and then slide down. There were a few arguments about who’s turn it was but they eventually figured out to wait in a line so they knew who’s turn would be next. A few friends took a tumble as they slid off the house so Dylan took it upon himself to help his friends while saying, “I’ll hold onto you so you don’t fall down.” Many of our friends worked on listening to each other’s words and giving each other space, we heard lots of “space, I don’t like that, you’re hurting my body.”<\/p>\n
There were many activities available to the children as soon as we entered the classroom. The pastels and black board was a big hit as most of the children crowded around the board to draw. Other friends worked on creating decoration for our tree using a cotton pad and the dot markers. We checked on our garden, many friends asked where the micro greens were and noted on how large our potato has grown.<\/p>\n
